The Long Pose

This figure drawing workshop gives participants the opportunity to concentrate on a single figure drawing or painting for the entire 10 weeks. Students will have the option to either paint or draw the same pose for the entire session. Intro to Jewelry & Metalsmithing

In this introductory course, students will discover the working properties of non-ferrous metals and experiment with a range of metalsmithing fabrication techniques, while working with a variety of specialized hand tools, equipment, and torches. This class covers all of the basics, including: soldering, annealing, forming, cold joinery, bezel setting, finishing, and workshop safety. Students are encouraged to take this class several times before moving up to Int. & Adv. Jewelry & Metalsmithing.

Fundamentals of Landscape Painting

This class will introduce students to the fundamentals of landscape painting. Through skill building exercises in value, composition, design, drawing, and color mixing, students will gain a thorough understanding of the essentials needed to paint landscapes both in the studio and en plein air. Students will work in the classroom from source material provided by the instructor and if weather permits, classes will be spent plein air painting at various Lehigh Valley locations.
