Study nature attentively. Explore your inner self as you design and create stylized nature-inspired artwork at Graystones Preserve, a serene, natural and private preserve in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. Through guided instruction, lectures and studio demonstrations led by artist/educator, Ron DeLong, you will use the flora and fauna at Graystones Preserve to create highly textured, patterned and symbolic mixed media collage artwork. Discover and learn about the English Pre-Raphaelite artists like Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Mallais and William Holman Hunt who used nature as inspiration for their works. The use of symbols from Graystones’ flora and fauna, along with guided instruction about collages, will lift you to new heights of creativity.
