The Merit Scholarship Program
is designed to reward excellence in performance of students who study at The Baum School of Art. 50 students are awarded each year to with a full year of tuition subsidy. The Baum School faculty recommends students. The awards are presented in honor of Walter Emerson Baum, Harry Bertoia, Hans and Helen Moller, Beall and Linny Fowler, David E. Rodale, Dr. Samuel Silberg, Martin Zipin, Thomas G. Khoury, and Charles C. Dent. FALL, WINTER, SPRING
The Teenage Scholarship Program
reaches out to serious young people at a very crucial period of their youth, and provides opportunities for technical and creative development. This year 40 students participated in this full scholarship program, which meets once a week after school. WINTER, SPRING
The 15th Congressional District High School Art Competition - “An Artistic Discovery”
has been hosted by The Baum School of Art for the past 23 years. This special competition provides an exhibition opportunity for area high school students. 11 students are recognized with Scholarships to The Baum School of Art. The First Prize winning piece is sent to Washington DC to be displayed in The Halls of Congress for one year. FALL, WINTER OR SPRING
The Arts Ovation Scholarship Program
is presented by The Allentown Arts Commission. Three high school students from Wm. Allen, Dieruff and Central Catholic High Schools receive a full year of classes at The Baum School of Art. FALL, WINTER, SPRING |
