Teaching Philosophy

A good drawing basis is a paramount jumping off point in my teaching philosophy.  I champion strong composition with an emphasis on narrative style ranging from realism to pop art, impressionism, and cartooning.  Abstraction is  always a welcome addition.  An integral emphasis in my teaching style is always color; how to manipulate it for evocative mood by complimentary color mixing, color change, application, and etc.
